This is my friend Mandy. She's a bull rider...er...no she is a boxer...er...no, that's not it. This is her commercial to tell you to wear your bike helmet. She is a superior athlete who had a little tumble. She sent me the pic and I told her I had to post it because it will remind my cycling friends to wear thier helmets. Can you believe she is already back in the saddle riding? She is my hero.

Good news is I am fine and as twitchy as ever to get back training. hand therapists hate me!!!NOTE TO ALL - WEAR helmets - 7Ironman races did not do this damage to me - I did - spontaeous combustion. No idea why I crashed. Was a zealot before for helmets (4 concussions already - Steve Young,, Troy Aikman and I are out of football, Now am a CRAZY zealot - maybe I belong in iraq?! :-)Some ask about my chariot - bike is a war horse and a part of me after all my miles - more than my car. All is fine with my good steed - a bent bar end shifter on right side, scrapes all over, but it soldiers on, as do I funny how that is, right!?
