Here is a picture of my new vehicle. Can you see me driving around San Antonio in this? It is called an MRAP. It is the new vehicle the Army came up with to protect Soldiers from IED blasts. I was walking home from work one day this week and I saw this vehicle and walked over to it. There was this young Sergeant that took the time to explain to the silly Lieutenant Colonel all about the vehicle. He was even nice enough to take a photo of me near it. I did that so you could see how big the damn thing is. Look at the gun torrid on top. How nice that would be to have stuck in the traffic?
All kidding aside this vehicle is saving lives. I have seen videos and pictures of this thing blown up by IED's but the Soldiers are unharmed (physically anyway). That is some good shit.

Hey Chris,
You should look into the MRAP upgrade for your Escalade. Of course I am sure the mpg is not very good on that beast. Anyways, I just wanted to drop a note and say hi. Michele and I really enjoy seeing all the pictures of you over there. Be safe and we can't wait for you to get home!!

David,
Thanks for writing. I am not sure it doesn't get better mileage than my Escalade. The thing truly is a beast. They also have vehicle that causes tornadoes to blow trash away in front of the vehicle. This is so when the enemy puts down trash to hide IEDs it can be blown away and revealed. I saw one of those too. Unfortunately, it was moving so no pics could be taken. Tell M-Lo I said, "Hola."
