Early Saturday morning here...

This week was a good one. I got several things in the mail. My aunt Julia, my Mom, my Dad, Anne from California and my Texas friends all of you get a big hug from me. I even got a call Friday from some of the crazy ladies at my office. That was entertaining. I am trying to be as responsive as I can to the emails and letters. I think I am doing good but if I am slow it is only because I have to fit work in there too.

Some of you know about my neighbors giving me a send off when I left home 91 days ago. For those that don't. The day I was leaving I opened my garage to back my car out and in my yard were several of my neighbors. They were carrying American flags and kids had made drawings for me thanking me for my service. It was really nice. There were good handshakes and hugs and I felt special.
