That is a stick man that I hang my clothes on each day. Of course a bunch of boots. Mary left me a crate thingy. Actually she left me two. You can see I keep my movies and books stacked up neatly. I need some more crates but I don't know where I would put them? My TV is on top of our Tuff Boxes. We ship stuff by boat in these boxes. So they take 60+ days to get to you. Mine got lost so it took 90 days for me to get it. Good thing I didn't need anything in it too badly.
Here is my bed. Yes, it still looks small to me. Finally there is the chair given to me by Mary. I use my hunting chair mainly but occasionally I sit in that one.
There you have it, my little slice of heaven. It is tiny, it gets dusty as hell but it is mine for another 12 months. "...but a room is not a house, and a house is not a home. <---Luther Vandrose moment."

Wow! Nice digs Chris! :-) I have to admit it's not quite what I expected.....a little more than what I expected actually.
I just wanted to say hello and let you know that your wife is seriously kicking my *ss on her bike these days! I'm not kidding. We are both having fun training and trying to keep each other on tract. September 20th seems to be just around the corner.
It was great to see you (although only for a second) at the swearing in ceremony. I saw your picture flash up on the screen and tehn quickly disappear. I hope you and Bobbi got to have a nice chat.
Is there anything that you would just LOVE to have over there that we can send you?

Humble for sure, but there you have it, right? I like the fact that books and movies are neat :-)well at least no roommate with stinky socks!
Hey! At least you're missing the political nonsense from Denver! It will eb there same frmo St. Paul I'm sure. Also am OD'ed on Olympics too - is there any other country or sport in the world ? our never to be humble networks basically showed only sports in which our countrymen did well - but then I have that fussy equal time inclination for the downtrodden!
We love you and miss you and will vote to bring you guys and gals all home soon!

Jen - so good to hear from you. I am glad you two are hammering all the time. I am jealous. I am considering getting a bike while I am here. I wonder how fast I can ride when mortars are going off behind me?(smile). You, Bobbi and all my friends will be in such better bike shape than me when I return. You guys will have to bring me along slowly.
Wow what a great pad, nicer than a dorm room for sure. :-)
Be good and stay safe... Rosie
