OUCH!! Bobbi got into a bike wreck this weekend. She is fine although my bike friends that witnessed it are still in shock. Notice the dry blood on her helmet. She left the Tour de Gruene with 3 stiches, and the lovely scars. The people who witnessed it said things like, "I thought she was dead." "We thought she did a Christopher Reeve." I am happy to say she is strong as ever and is already thinking about getting back in the saddle again. I am proud of her for having the guts to get back on it. As I always say, "You just have to come to an understanding with pain." I think Bobbi has for sure.Tuesday, November 4, 2008

Helps to be hard headed, tehehehe. Hey, we have the most wonderful friends- without them, I would have never known where these stitches and road rash came from, LOL! Oye vey.... I am doing much better, thankfully.
Bobbi - I FEEL your pain. LOL. My hand is still bent up, but am back to my old high jinks. There are 2 types of cycists - those who have crashed and those who will crash. So, you and i have been christened and, so far, we ive to tell the story!
